Craftsman Article November 2019

Brothers and Sisters the holiday season is upon us. I wish everyone a safe and prosperous holiday season.

Oncor contract negotiations continue. The Union Committee met with the Company for contract negotiations Tuesday, November 19th, Thursday, November 21st, and Friday, November 22nd. The parties are scheduled to meet and negotiate on Tuesday, November 26th. I would like to thank everyone that has participated in our protest Marches on Saturdays. There was no protest march the weekend of Saturday, November 23rd because of Brother Jerry Babson's funeral service on Saturday November 23, 2019, in Lufkin, Texas. On November 20th, tragedy struck when two Oncor employees were involved in an on the job accident. Michael “Tanner” Kennedy lost his life and Max Mazza was seriously injured and remains in the hospital. Please keep these families in your prayers. After the OSHA investigation on the accident is complete we will release what information we have at that time.

Brothers and Sisters enjoy your holiday season no matter where you are or what you are doing. Take a minute to hug somebody you love like it's the last time you will ever hug them. Take time to thank God for all you have.

Until next time may God bless you, your family, and our local union.
