Brothers and Sisters I would like to wish all IBEW Members and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope everyone made it through Thanksgiving without gaining to many pounds and was able to spend time with their families. Welcome back to all Oncor employees that went to California to work during the Thanksgiving Holidays and after. It’s always good when everyone comes home safely. The trip to California should have been a money maker for all that went. Your labor contract allowed us to receive the higher wage rates out West.

Our brothers and sisters at Fox 4 continue to wait for management to get their vacation over with so we can continue negotiations on the labor contract. The station has delayed negotiations and was unwilling to meet in the last two months. Our members are not willing to relinquish the jurisdictional language in the contract that protects union jobs at the station. The station has said “if you want to keep your jurisdiction we will keep our money”. There is a lot of work to be done at Fox with possible charges to be filed at the NLRB. Corporate greed is alive and well.

We have our quarterly meetings scheduled for January 2019. The schedule for the meetings is as follows;
